Privacy Policy (GDPR)

Last updated: March 13, 2026

1. Introduction

We value your privacy. This document describes how we handle your personal data in compliance with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).

2. What Personal Data We Process

In connection with operating the BlastTimingSim application, we process in particular the following categories of personal data: (a) identification and contact data (email, name / display name, company, country), (b) account and trial data (account creation date, trial start and end date, information about first and last simulator access, any assigned licence/plan), (c) technical and operational data (logs necessary for security, diagnostics, and stability of the application), and (d) billing data for paid services (if and when enabled). Data is stored in a database provided by Supabase and operational logs may also be processed by hosting and analytics providers (e.g. Vercel, Google Analytics), always in accordance with this document and applicable law.

3. Local Storage

The application uses browser local storage (localStorage) to save your projects, preferences, and certain settings (such as selected language) directly on your device. This locally stored data is not sent to our servers unless you actively use features that require database storage (such as login, licence management, or admin features).

4. Cookies

We use necessary technical cookies to ensure proper functioning of the application (e.g. keeping you signed in, remembering language settings, showing the cookie banner). We may also use analytics tools (e.g. Vercel Analytics, Google Analytics) to measure traffic and improve the application. These analytics tools process aggregated and pseudonymised usage data and are activated only based on your consent via the cookie banner. Details are provided in our Cookie Policy.

5. Future Changes

The scope and purposes of personal data processing may expand in the future (e.g. to a full licensing system, online payments, extended analytics). We will inform you in advance about any material changes, update this Privacy Policy, and, where required, obtain your renewed consent.

6. Your Rights

Under GDPR, you have in particular the right of access to your personal data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and the right to object, as well as the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You can exercise these rights via the contact email provided on our website. In justified cases, we may request reasonable verification of your identity to prevent abuse of your rights by third parties.

7. Contact

If you have any questions regarding data protection, you can contact us through the contact form on the website.
